I’ve wanted to create video games since I was given I believe it was a Tandy and a book full of code to create games to play. I don’t remember if I got any of those games to work (or if that thing even worked correctly) but I remember the wonder I felt at trying to follow the code and create something with it.
This is definitely my largest update so far! I feel like I just finished a marathon and some of my best work to date too. I’ve never drawn so many people in active poses before.
Here is the promo link to my Skillshare Class on using Clip Studio Paint to paint a bird. (http://skl.sh/2lUKMPvLINK) I tried to gear the class toward beginners and to help those new to CSP. If you join with that link you get 2 free months (and Skillshare kicks cash my way 🙂 ) That’s all I’ve got at the moment-the next update of Seoul Love Shot is going to be massive and it’s due just around the corner so….
“You may make a lot of bad pieces, but that’s the whole idea, because if we make enough bad pieces, we’re bound to make a few good ones. And if we make enough good pieces, eventually we’ll even make some great pieces.” -Noah Bradly

I used 3 brushes mainly- the Round Gouache (fine), Dry Bristle Round (pressure) small, and the Square Opaque. I used the Round Gouache mainly for the smoother skin parts- pressing down a bit gave a really nice smooth texture while pressing lightly gave a slightly rougher one……
This is just a short clip from a great tutorial by Strawberriice over at Deviantart (here). Another great way to pick colors that I need to keep in mind.

My Tools Here’s a working list of the tools I commonly use. I’ll try to keep this updated and link to pages with more info about the tools and how they are working out for me along with any tips and tricks I might have picked up using them. If you wish to see more use the search at the top typing in the tool/software/etc you are looking for and you should get all related posts. Good luck on your own art journey!
